Silent Gig

In 2008 SilentArena's senior sound engineer pioneered a new concept where two bands could play at the same time using electrical equipment. The audio was delivered to the crowd via SilentArena's wireless headphones. Giving an almost CD quality sound the world's first Silent Gig was an event its participants would never forget.

How does it work?

We will send one of our qualified sound engineers with a team of technicians to setup at your venue or festival. The team will assist in setting up the bands equipment to a mixing desk as per a normal event. However instead of the front of house mix going to a PA system it is fed into our transmitter, this is done for both bands. Your customers can then choose which band they want to listen to by flicking the switch on our headphones. Our technicians will also help hand out and collect back in the headphones at the end of the event.

What does the package include?

  • The highest quality headphones available
  • Transmitter with built in compression and limitation for superior sound quality
  • Qualified Sound Engineer
  • Technicians
  • Additional sound equipment (as required)

Can we use our own engineers?

Yes of course and any equipment you already have that is suitable can be used to reduce hire costs. Contact one of our team to discuss the possibilities!
